I first learned this tune from Leake Caudill, an old fiddler and bachelor who lived in a mud chinked log home in Richmond Courthouse, NC. A tribute album to West Virginia’s Blind Alfred Reed will be released Nov. 16, 2007, when he will be inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame.
